First Week Beta

game_updates 28/05/2017

Greetings Alchemists!

In case you missed it, last week we launched our beta! Here's a quick update on what happened in the week:

It's been a hectic week but we just want to say thank you so much for all the great feedback. Your input will really help make the game even better - so keep em coming!

Remember we've setup an invite only Facebook group for beta testers to hang out, discuss the game as well as give us on going feedback. We're still sending out invites to the group (there are lots of emails to go through manually unfortunately). You can speed things up by following that link and request to join.

Things to look at

We've collected all of your feedback and will discuss them in our planning sessions. At the moment, here are the areas we plan to discuss and address:

  • Various improvements to the card management area
  • Ability to change font size for smaller phones
  • Point and click options for placing cards
  • Free card pack notification bug
  • Edge cases around not being able to steal cards when opponent has left the game
  • Better messages around login/sign up errors
  • In game tutorials around the advanced rules

Combo Rules

Until we get the in game tutorials in, we're working on new guides which will explain how to use the advanced rules. The guides will be available on the website soon but in the mean time you can see this previous update which explains the combo rules.

The first week leaderboard rankings are in! Here's an announcement..we're running a competition during the beta for the top ranked Eminence player. There will be a special prize which will be announced later. Where will you stand?! Collect or steal and fight your way to the top!

So when can you expect to see new builds and updates? We're aiming to have a new build every 3 - 4 weeks. The updates will either contain bug fixes, new features or both. The new changelog page will show you what's changed since the last version.
